*Emerging by Connection to The Word:
The Bible is a form of the Word of God: it points to Jesus Christ, The Word of God, and we proclaim That Word at Amity. The trouble is that the Scriptures are often difficult for people to "connect" to on a regular basis. The PCUSA has a way to make this very easy. Just as there is a Sunday Lectionary Scripture, so there is a Daily Lectionary. You can subscribe to this daily scripture readings at:

A new Sunday School class where we deal with contemporary, moral, cultural and often controversial issues as Christians living authentically in an often "Post-Christian" world.

*Emerging in Worship: Amity Presbyterian Church hears the call of The Word in Jesus Christ and Gathers around it on Sunday morning, to hear it Proclaimed in song, prayer and preaching and then to Respond in thought, speech and action. The united Amity community of faith then Bears and Follows this Word out in the world, making a difference.
*Emerging along with the Youth: They have been known to take over a whole worship service!
